No Fault Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Associate Attorney

Lewis Brisbois is a full-service Am Law 100 firm seeking an attorney to join their No Fault Insurance Personal Injury Protection (PIP) defense litigation team. The role involves managing all aspects of PIP/no-fault litigation, including case management, discovery, motion practice, and settlement negotiations. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of PIP/no-fault litigation from case inception to resolution Handle discovery, motion practice, arbitrations, mediations, and settlement negotiations Conduct Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Examinations Under Oath (EUOs) Prepare comprehensive reports with a focus on SIU and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) matters Skills At least one (1) to seven (7) years of No-Fault PIP defense litigation experience Experience managing a diverse caseload involving no-fault claims, arbitrations, and mediations Ability to stay current on evolving laws and regulations to ensure effective and compliant defense strategies Manage all aspects of PIP/no-fault litigation from case inception to resolution, discovery, motion practice, arbitrations, mediations, and settlement negotiations Conduct Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Examinations Under Oath (EUOs) and prepare comprehensive reports with a focus on SIU and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) matters Admission to the New York Bar is required Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life insurance 401(k) plan with employer match Company Overview Established in 1979, Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP is a national, full-service law firm with more than 1,600 attorneys and 54 offices in 30 states and the District of Columbia.
