Mortgage Compliance Officer
Job Description:
Dominion Financial Services (DFS) is a mortgage originator for single family real estate. DFS originates two main loan products a short-term bridge loan for fix & flip investors, and a long-term rental loan for landlords growing their rental portfolios. DFS is thriving in the current competitive environment and shows aggressive quarterly growth. Our current origination volume is $70MM per month. DFS is looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our growing team.

In This Role You Will:
Review and audit loan files to ensure they are in compliance with the lending guidelines and are error free
Track and clear any post-closing exceptions in a timely basis
Assist other DFS members in coordinating settlements with title companies and borrower
Obtain financial information and property information from borrowers.
Ensure all Loan files are in compliance with Dominion Financial Services, LLC Standards
Maintain all loan files and informing upper management of any files that are about to be or currently out of compliance
Review borrower financials, document pertinent information, provide recommended approval amounts and talk intelligently about the borrower
Requirements:
3+ Years of experience in lending
Experience with Qualify Control
Advanced in Microsoft Office
Proficient in Outlook and Adobe
Other Qualifications include:
Applicant must be always willing to ask questions and do research when applicable
Applicant must be extremely detailed oriented
Applicant must be entrepreneurial and have the will to achieve and grow
Applicant must be very good on the phone and in person
