Mgr Tax Accounting

Manage assigned income tax accounting processes. Essential Functions • Direct and develop a team of income tax accounting professionals. • Assigned processes may include review of domestic and foreign current and deferred tax provisions, documentation of uncertain tax positions, and preparation of financial disclosures pursuant to ASC 740. • Prepare and maintain required documentation for discussion with management and external auditors. • Ensure adherence to department policies regarding managing, updating and ensuring tax work is in compliance with required SOX control objectives. • Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Education Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or related discipline. Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements. Minimum Experience Five (5) years of relevant tax accounting experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Significant process management experience in a large organization. Strong management, human relations and communications skills. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and understanding with accounting for income taxes in accordance to ASC740 specifically related to US Federal and State taxes, Software experience using CorpTax, Oracle, Alteryx, Research, writing, and presentation experience, The ability to multi-task, work independently, develop new ideas and take ownership of projects Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. Pay: $9,719.96/month - $13,121.94/month Additional Details: The desired locations for this position would be Collierville, TN. This position may be eligible for relocation.
