Marketing Associate
Heal The Earth is dedicated to transforming the food system for the benefit of farmers, ranchers, and consumers. They are seeking a Marketing Associate to lead communication efforts, manage content, and support marketing initiatives to build brand awareness and drive growth in the Organic Avocado market.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the coordination and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns including digital, social media, email, and traditional marketing tacticsDraft and edit marketing materials, such as social media posts, newsletters, flyers, blog articles, and product descriptionsSupport data collection and analysis on industry trends, target audiences, and competitor activities to help inform marketing strategiesHelp maintain and grow our social media presence through regular posting, engagement tracking, and content schedulingAssist in organizing promotional events, product tastings, and community outreach effortsMaintain marketing calendars, update CRM databases, and help with tracking key performance indicators and reportingWork with cross-functional teams including sales, farm partners, and product teams to support marketing goalsCommunicate with external vendors and service providers as needed to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials and servicesSkillsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field1–3 years of experience in a marketing support role, preferably in agriculture, food, or consumer goodsStrong communication and organizational skillsBasic knowledge of digital marketing tools such as email platforms, social media scheduling tools, and content creation softwareFamiliarity with Shopify, Google Workspace and Canva; experience with CRM systems or basic graphic design a plusWillingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a mission-driven teamBenefitsPaid time off and holidaysProfessional development opportunitiesFlexible work environmentCompany OverviewAbout Heal The Earth Heal The Earth is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit social enterprise committed to building resilient communities and fostering sustainable nutrition across Southern California.
