Position: Manager, Strategic Initiatives Location: Remote (USA) Reports to : Director, Strategic Initiatives Overview : The Manager, Strategic Initiatives plays a key role in driving high-impact strategic initiatives across the organization. This individual partners with senior leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, ensuring successful execution through structured project management, cross-functional coordination, and data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives, from ideation through execution and post-implementation evaluation Partner with executive stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, success metrics, and timelines Translate strategic goals into detailed project plans, including milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, accountability, and timely delivery Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies Develop and deliver executive-level presentations, reports, and insights Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support strategic decision-making Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and strategic planning sessions Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and execution frameworks Ensure initiatives are aligned with overall business strategy and organizational priorities Required Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field Minimum of 7 years of project management experience Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior executives Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira) and data analysis tools (Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment Preferred Qualifications : Strategic thinking and business acumen Project and program management expertise Stakeholder influence and relationship management Structured problem-solving Adaptability and resilience Familiarity with change management methodologies Key Skills : • Strategic planning and execution • Risk management • Budget and cost control • Stakeholder engagement • Decision-making under pressure • Negotiation and conflict resolution Work Environment : • Full-time role • Occasional travel may be required Why Join Ruger At Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc., we are proud to be recognized as one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of rugged, reliable firearms for the commercial sporting market.
