Job Description: We're Hiring: Managed Services Engineer – Tier 3 (Remote, Pacific Time Zone)Are you a seasoned network engineer who thrives in complex environments and loves solving challenging problems across multi-vendor platforms? Join our global Managed Services team and help support mission-critical networks for enterprise clients across the U.S. Location: Remote Level: Tier 3 / Senior Support What You'll Do Provide Tier 3 support for diverse network environments including Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, ADTRAN, Juniper, Meraki, and HP/Dell switchesTroubleshoot advanced routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, DMVPNSupport SD-WAN platforms (Cisco Viptela, Ecessa, Vergx) and wireless LAN controllersConfigure and troubleshoot voice services: SIP, PRI, Hosted PBX, TDM/IP interworking, Fax over IPCollaborate with field techs and ISPs to resolve complex issuesPerform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutionsAnalyze SIP traffic using Wireshark and other diagnostic toolsMaintain documentation and ensure SLA complianceDesign and implement network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systemsDevelop and execute network migration plans for large-scale infrastructure upgradesConduct performance tuning and capacity planning for enterprise networksMentor and provide technical guidance to Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teamsParticipate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical issuesContribute to the development of best practices and standard operating proceduresEvaluate and recommend new technologies to improve network performance and reliability Qualifications:What You BringDegree in Telecommunications Engineering or related fieldCertifications such as CCNA, Fortinet NSE 4, Cisco Meraki Specialist, ADTRAN ATSP/ATSA5+ years of experience in Tier 2/3 network and voice support rolesStrong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network topologiesExperience with Microsoft platforms (Exchange, Office 365, Active Directory) and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)Fluent in English; Spanish is a plusWork ScheduleFull-time, remoteStandard business hours based on Pacific TimeOccasional after-hours support for escalations and critical deploymentsReady to take your network engineering career to the next level?
