Position: Security Guard, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises and personnel


Your key responsibilities will include:

Monitoring surveillance systems, including cameras, alarms, and access control systems to prevent and detect security breaches
Conducting regular patrol rounds of the premises to deter and detect suspicious activity
Maintaining a visible presence to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees and customers
Responding promptly to security breaches, alarms, and emergencies, and taking appropriate action to resolve the situation
Investigating incidents and documenting findings to identify areas for improvement
Enforcing company security policies and procedures to ensure compliance and minimize risk
Creating incident reports and submitting them to the appropriate personnel for review and follow-up
Providing excellent customer service while enforcing security measures to ensure a positive experience for our customers
Collaborating with local law enforcement agencies as needed to ensure a safe and secure environment

To be successful in this role, you will need:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in security or law enforcement is a plus
Proven experience as a security guard or similar role preferred, with a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures
Strong observation and surveillance skills, with the ability to detect and respond to security breaches
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and law enforcement agencies
Ability to maintain composure and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations, with a strong focus on safety and security
Basic knowledge of emergency response procedures, with the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
Familiarity with access control systems and CCTV surveillance systems is a plus, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods of time, with a strong focus on safety and security
A valid driver's license is a plus, with the ability to travel to different locations as needed
