Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager Trainee - Coach to join our team in Rockford, IL. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and developing high-performing teams, driving financial performance and sales growth, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, and providing feedback and coaching to improve performance
Drive financial performance and sales growth by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgets, and implementing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals
Provide exceptional customer service by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives, and ensuring customer needs are successfully resolved
Supervise and develop hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring, and providing recognition and opportunities for growth and development
Coordinate and complete job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities
Requirements:
2 years of college or 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience, or 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Leadership
Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership
General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports
