[Remote] Account Manager I

Healthcare Management Administrators (HMA) is a premier third-party health plan administrator dedicated to providing customized health plans for medium to large-size employers. The Account Manager I will build strong relationships with clients and brokers, guiding them through self-funded health plans and ensuring their needs are represented within the organization.ResponsibilitiesRepresent Client Success by participating in finalist meetings and implementationOwns preparation, delivery and execute of renewal strategyBuild strong relationships with key stakeholders and demonstrate HMA valueRecommend products and services relevant to client needs by reviewing data and listening to customer needs through regular touchpointsRegularly updates CRM to communicate client and broker activities across the organizationBrings new insights from industry events, client and broker meetings and competitor information to supplement client success strategyServe as a subject matter expert for client success functions by participating in projects as neededSkillsBA degree in healthcare related field, communications, business administration1-2 years' experience in the health insurance industry1-2 years working directly with clients/brokers2 years of account management experienceExtensive knowledge of ERISA, Benefit Plan Management, Self-Funded Benefit Plans and Stop LossStrong written and verbal communication skillsProfessional presence and appearanceAbility to engage in community/ networking opportunities outside of normal business hoursWA State Agents License, Life & Disability or other professional designation (e.g., CEBS, HIAA) preferred upon hire.
