Housekeeping Attendant – Amazon Store

The Woods Hole Inn and Treehouse Lodge is looking for a flexible, dependable, experienced housekeeper to work part time at either of our establishments. Day to day duties include: Cleaning and sanitizing rooms or other assigned areas, changing linens, changing glassware and removing debris. Specific duties include dusting and polishing, cleaning all furniture and accessories, washing windows and mirrors, removing any stains or marks from linens, towels, carpets, pillows etc…Emptying all trash and recycling and distributing it to the proper location. Housekeeping duties also include cleaning and sanitizing bathing spaces, sinks, toilets and floors; vacuuming, sweeping and mopping. Check for damages to company property and submit reports to appropriate supervisors. Additional daily duties include: · Responsible for responding to guest needs in a prompt and courteous manner while maintaining guest satisfaction. At times, guests may request additional items in their room; ie. new fresh linens, a cot, new towels · Answer inquiries of guests regarding various matters, such as accommodation features or local attractions · Launder towels and other items on a daily basis · Work in a timely and consistent fashion · Communicate with the head of housekeeping and management status throughout the day Essential Skills & Qualifications: reliable, transportation needed, detail-oriented, physical stamina, must be able to lift min of 30 pounds, must be able to walk up and downstairs, have organizational skills, team player skills, flexibility re-changes in duties and tasks, able to work accurately while working independently. Knowledge of mixing and applying chemical cleaning solutions is a must. We're an equal opportunity employer.
