INTERNSHIP - Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Management Analyst - Real Estate - New York, New York, United States

Responsibilities
• Assist the team responsible for Agency and Portfolio Management functions supporting the Commercial Real Estate and CMBS Business Lines.
• Prepare annual credit reviews (including financial analysis, market research, appraisal review and rating proposal) for assigned accounts.
• Update cash flow models for all property types in connection with Annual Reviews.
• Process amendments, waivers, and consents for assigned transactions, including obtaining all required internal credit approvals.
• Handle various aspects of credit monitoring and reporting including General Credit Triggers and Early Warning Indicators.
• Perform quarterly watch-list and provision reviews and present the same in local and global meetings
• Work in close collaboration with third party servicer and perform related oversight functions
• Evaluate and follow the Basel III parameters as well as the regulatory ratios
• Prepare reports and responses to management inquiries on portfolios.
• Record covenants in the internal tracking system and escalate past dues.
• Assist in internal and external audits and examinations of portfolios
Profile required

Technical Skills

Required/Must have:
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook

Desired/Plus:
• Experience in Structured Finance
• Knowledge of Commercial Real Estate
• Experience in appraisal process

Prior Work Experience

• Prior experience in commercial real estate.

Education

Required/Must have:
• Bachelor’s degree.

• MBA, CFA or
• Commercial Real Estate certification

COMPENSATION:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans and commuters.
