Overnight shifts
Pay: $20/hr
Part Time shifts
Training in Framingham office, then hybrid work arrangement after
Responsibilities:
Answer calls from individuals facing mental health issues, crises, suicidal thoughts, and other stressful situations
Show extreme empathy and remain non-judgmental to assist callers effectively
De-escalate situations with the support of the call site supervisor
Be prepared to call 911 on behalf of the caller in emergencies
Requirements:
High school degree
Experience with data gathering techniques
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, databases, and other software systems
Ability to deescalate crisis situations while maintaining composure
Must attend training in Framingham, MA
Mac (Google Chrome access) or PC, strong Wi-Fi, headphones with microphone compatible with computer
Quiet workspace for working from home for remote shifts
Preferred Requirements:
Prior telephone/call-center experience focused on emotional support
