Description Home Health Aide (HHA) – CNA Certified Vitale Nursing, Inc. – Vitale Nursing, Inc. is currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and professional Home Health Aides (HHAs) with CNA certification to join our private duty team. HHAs work under the supervision of an RN or LVN to provide safe, high-quality, and personalized support in patient homes and post-operative recovery settings. Position Overview As a Home Health Aide with CNA certification, you will: • Assist patients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility support • Provide personal care and companionship to patients in private residences or hotel recovery suites • Support patients in post-operative recovery and long-term care assignments as directed by the supervising nurse • Perform non-medical medication reminders only (administration is outside HHA scope of practice) • Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure) when assigned by a licensed nurse • Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising RN or LVN • Assist with basic comfort measures, positioning, and safe patient transfers • Document care provided in accordance with Vitale Nursing, Inc. policies Preferred Experience • Previous experience in private duty home care • Familiarity with post-operative recovery routines • Experience supporting hospice and palliative care patients • Prior CNA/HHA experience in home health or skilled nursing Minimum Requirements • Valid CNA Certification in California • Valid Home Health Aide certification (HHA) issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) • Current BLS/CPR Certification • Reliable transportation • Professional, punctual, and trustworthy demeanor • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Three professional references • Proof of Malpractice Insurance • Successful completion of a background check Compensation & Benefits • Pay Rate: $23 – $28 per hour • Employment Types: Full-time & Part-time available • Shifts: Day and Night shifts • Schedule: Monday–Sunday, with weekend opportunities as needed Full-Time Employee Benefits Only • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance • 401(k) Retirement Plan • Paid ongoing training and professional development • Referral bonuses and performance incentives Required Documentation • Valid CNA and HHA certifications (California) • Two forms of identification (Driver’s License/Passport and Social Security card) • Signed employee agreement (provided during hiring) • Completed application (provided during hiring) • Physical exam and TB test (within 1 year) • Current CPR/BLS certification • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster (or plan to obtain) • Proof of Malpractice Insurance Why Work With Vitale Nursing, Inc.? • Concierge-level private duty care in prestigious areas of Los Angeles • Flexible scheduling with competitive pay • Bi-weekly direct deposit • Supportive, inclusive, and professional work environment • Career growth opportunities (many staff progress to LVN, RN, NP, and PT roles) Equal Employment Opportunity Vitale Nursing, Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer.
