Global Supply Manager - Hardware Procurement
Description:
• As a Global Supply Manager on the Hardware Operations team, you will manage a variety of commodities
• Manage supplier business relationships including pricing and contract negotiations
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies from a wide variety of component manufacturers
• Report to the Global Supply Manager Lead
• This is a contract position for up to twelve months
Requirements:
• At least 6 + years of experience in Global Supply Management with a mechanical and module focus
• Develop a nuanced understanding of the commodity landscape in mechanicals
• The ability to maintain and develop relationships within Block's internal teams and suppliers
• Experience working in multi-national environments to accomplish outstanding goals
• A demonstrated ability to articulate complex manufacturing & supply chain concepts
• Supply Chain Management degree, MS or BS Degree in related disciplines (EE/ME preferred), MBA is a plus
• Technical background is highly preferred
• Proven track record of meeting challenging organizational objectives
• Great attention to detail with strong written/verbal communication skills
• Exceptional analytical and Excel skills
