Futures Derivatives Clearing Senior Analyst

This is a hybrid role based at Citi's Tampa location and will require a minimum of 2 days in-office. The Sec & Derivatives Sr Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for ensuring Futures transactions are cleared/processed accurately and on time in coordination with the FDC Trade Management Team. The overall objective is to apply in-depth knowledge of Futures clearing to process improvement, guidance and coordination of team tasks, and contribute to ongoing initiatives for Risk/Control. Responsibilities: Provide expert Futures transaction input for deliverables from internal and external Institutional clients and vendorsAssist in ensuring day to day tasks are covered and service levels are achieved and/or exceededContribute to special projects and provide feedback for all project related activities as directedApply technical knowledge of Futures products, the various exchanges and clearing systems to projects and process enhancement effortsContribute to the development of new techniques and processes within cash managementDevelop and recommend strategic decisions based off in-depth comprehension of how the Securities Derivatives Operations team interacts with others business unites in accomplishing objectivesInfluence decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating others in areaEvaluate moderately complex issues with substantial potential impactProvide informal guidance or on-the-job-training to new team membersAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications: 5-8 years of relevant experienceConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsEffective analytical/critical thinking skillsKnowledge & Full understanding of the Futures & Options trade life cycle Education: Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
