With a commitment to customer success, we're dedicated to helping our clients – from engineers and small businesses to educational institutions and government agencies – harness the power of our technology to connect with customers, employees, and partners. **Job Summary** As a Cloud Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for guiding clients on how to ingest, store, process, analyze, and visualize data on the arenaflex Cloud Platform. You'll work with states, universities, and other public sector clients to design large-scale data processing systems, develop data pipelines optimized for scalability, and investigate potential platform issues. Additionally, you'll collaborate with Product Management and Product Design to build and continuously drive excellence in our products. **Key Responsibilities** * Direct clients on how to ingest, store, process, analyze, and visualize data on the arenaflex Cloud Platform * Manage data migrations and large-scale projects * Work with states, universities, and other public sector clients to design large-scale data processing systems, develop data pipelines optimized for scalability, and investigate potential platform issues * Collaborate with Product Management and Product Design to build and continuously drive excellence in our products * Travel up to 15% of the time to client sites to deliver solutions and conduct workshops to educate and enable clients on a case-by-case basis * Utilize video conferencing for meetings, technical reviews, and on-site delivery activities **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience * 2+ years of experience in data processing programming (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive) and analytics (e.g., MapReduce, Flume) * Experience coding in at least one of the following languages: Java, C++, or Python * Dynamic US Government Top Secret/SCI Trusted status * Preferred qualifications: + Experience working with/on data warehouses, including data mart models, system components, ETL/ELT and reporting/analytical tools and technologies, data structures + Experience with big data, data recovery, data mining, or AI + Experience building multi-tiered high availability applications with modern web technologies (e.g., NoSQL, MongoDB, SparkML, TensorFlow, etc.) + Experience architecting, developing, or web-scale creation grade large data solutions in virtualized environments + Experience managing customer-facing projects, investigating clients' technical issues, and working with design, sales, services, and clients **Skills and Competencies** * Strong technical expertise in data processing, analytics, and cloud computing * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines * Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams * Ability to travel up to 15% of the time to client sites **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
