Full-Time Real Estate Investigator (Remote – Based in Pierce County, WA)

Job Title: Full-Time Real Estate Investigator/Researcher (Remote – Based in Pierce County, WA) Company Overview: We are a growing real estate investment company based in Pierce County, WA, specializing in purchasing properties throughout Washington. Our work often involves locating property owners, heirs, or family members to facilitate smooth transactions. We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, computer savvy investigator or researcher to join our team full-time. Position Summary: The Real Estate Investigator/Researcher will be responsible for researching, locating, and contacting property owners or their relatives for real estate acquisition purposes. This role requires a strong background in investigative work, excellent computer skills, and the ability to think creatively to track down hard-to-find individuals. This position can be performed remotely, though candidates must be familiar with Washington property records and investigative processes and reside in either Pierce County, WA or King County, WA (or very close by). Key Responsibilities: • Research and locate property owners, heirs, or related parties • Utilize online databases, public records, and investigative tools to gather information • Communicate with potential contacts professionally and discreetly • Maintain accurate records and reports of findings • Collaborate with the acquisitions team to move leads into active negotiations • Ensure all investigative activities comply with legal requirements and company policies Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years of private investigation experience • Proven success in skip tracing, locating individuals, or investigative research • Proficient with computers, online research tools, and database systems • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Knowledge of real estate or title research is a plus Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday (occasional flexibility as needed) • This is a remote job.
