What you will do Supporting Johnson Controls’ Data Center Solutions group, you will lead, plan, coordinate, and help facilitate the execution of manufacturing, delivering, and commissioning Silent-Aire products, while working in tandem with Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and Field Services in this client-facing role. Supporting projects in new and established regions, you will schedule and conduct project meetings, communicate assignments and expectations to project team members, and track the completion of project deliverables to ensure the quality and integrity of all project-related products. How you will do it β€’ Facilitate management of product-based, cross-department initiatives. β€’ Serve as the primary POC for a project region, responsible for delivery to client and business satisfaction of all projects within that region. β€’ Schedule and run kickoff/recurring meetings, develop meeting agendas, and manage stakeholder communication by following up on status to ensure deliverables and milestones are met. β€’ Provide weekly project status reports to the Senior Leadership team and work with finance to ensure all monthly and project forecasts are met within project goals. β€’ Compile data from numerous sources based on project scope and progress; summarize data and prepare recommendations to management based on findings. β€’ Attend client-facing project meetings, over Teams and in person. β€’ Review project specifications and provide input to engineering on field scope of work. β€’ Review Contract Terms and Conditions. β€’ Coordinate project Design deliverables with Client and Engineering teams. β€’ Ensure all client deliverables are provided in a timely manner according to project schedule. β€’ Administer the complete life cycle of assigned projects and tasks from inception to closeout to ensure results are achieved. β€’ Analyze field quality issues with cross functional teams. β€’ Maintain a Lessons Learned log for field issues and ensure root causes are established, and corrective actions are closed out by the appropriate teams. β€’ Monitor and track project delays, maintaining up-to-date information on project status for external reporting. β€’ Maintain and ensure measures of the company quality management system are executed. β€’ Maintain accurate records for historical reference and create documentation on internal best practices. β€’ Deliver and track critical spares for site commissioning activities. β€’ Ensure that projects are effectively planned and well-organized. β€’ Generate, maintain, and close Change Orders and Requests For Information per project needs. β€’ Deliver project presentations internally and externally as required. What we look for Required: β€’ 3+ years of direct work experience in project management β€’ Ability to travel on a regular basis including extended overnights, before/after normal work hours, and weekends (10-25% travel) o Occasional travel to field worksite locations may require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) o Occasional travel is required including international travel. Must have a valid passport or the ability to obtain a passport β€’ Excellent organizational skills β€’ Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods β€’ Intuitive grasp of organizational structure to manage cross-departmental and cross-disciplinary resource allocation β€’ Highly effective negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolutions skills β€’ Superb creation and facilitation of meetings, feedback sessions, and briefings to create consensus among stakeholders β€’ Able to effectively communicate with all types of staff, technical, professional, and upper management β€’ Microsoft Project/Smart Sheets (project scheduling) experience β€’ Strong knowledge of Internet technologies and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) β€’ Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills β€’ Ability to create and edit project documents, materials, and presentations β€’ Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing β€’ Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients, business units, and corporate departments are key β€’ Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines β€’ Persuasive and motivating, with a strong focus on managing client group and contractors Preferred: β€’ Bilingual – Spanish/English β€’ PMP and/or other relevant project management certifications β€’ Previous experience in QA/QC β€’ Previous experience with site commissioning β€’ Candidate to be located in central time zone (CST) #LI-Remote HIRING SALARY RANGE: $81,000-134,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
