Data Operations Analyst You will join the Data Products Operations Team which is focused on delivering value to our clients through actionable insights derived from YouGovâs industry-leading brand tracking products, including BrandIndex. The team supports internal and external stakeholders by ensuring accurate brand tracking, robust platform configuration, high data quality, and reliable delivery of insights.Our team plays a critical role in maintaining the operational excellence of YouGovâs syndicated products, acting as a bridge between clients, internal teams, and technical systems to ensure seamless execution, platform stability, and trusted data outputs.About the RoleAs a Data Operations Analyst, you will be a key member of the Data Products Operations team, responsible for the operational setup, maintenance, and support of the BrandIndex platform. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to manage brand additions, custom variables (triggers), platform configuration, data delivery, and troubleshooting.This role requires strong attention to detail, technical curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple workflows while ensuring data accuracy and client satisfaction.Shift timings: 6.30 PM to 3.30 AM ISTJob ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will report into the Client Services Manager and will be responsible for ensuring smooth operational execution across BrandIndex. While responsibilities may vary day-to-day, they will largely focus on the following:Custom Variables (Triggers)âȘ Conduct feasibility checks for new custom variablesâȘ Create compilers and submit Agiloft requestsâȘ Perform quality checks on scripting, test surveys, and review output dataâȘ Manage modifications and deactivations of existing custom variablesBrand AdditionsâȘ Review and activate QSLs for new brand additionsâȘ Support ongoing brand tracking setup and validationPlatform Configuration & User ManagementâȘ Manage dashboard permissions and access levelsâȘ Move users between accounts and edit user information and permissionsâȘ Create new company accounts and trial accountsâȘ Migrate user assets as requiredâȘ Add and manage custom variables (triggers) within the platformData DeliveryâȘ Create compilers and Agiloft requests for data pull and deliveryâȘ Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timely deliveryClient-Facing DocumentationâȘ Update and maintain the global brand list and other client-facing documentationTroubleshooting & SupportâȘ Investigate and resolve issues related to analysis, dashboards, composite filters, custom sectors, and BrandIndex functionalityâȘ Respond to internal and client queries regarding the BrandIndex toolInternal AuditsâȘ Conduct periodic internal sector audits to ensure brands are tracked on time and testing requirements are metAPI SupportâȘ Participate in API onboarding callsâȘ Enable API permissions and troubleshoot API-related issuesNice to HavesProficiency in Python, R and SQL.Why join YouGov?Join our global team to help us achieve our social mission: to make millions of peopleâs opinions heard for the benefit of our local, national, and international communities.Understanding diversity of opinion requires diversity of background.
