About the Department of Communication Studies The Department of Communication Studies at the University of Denver is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive educational environment. Our courses cover the breadth of the communication discipline, including family, interpersonal, cultural, rhetorical, organizational, political, and health contexts. We offer a B.A. or a minor in communication studies, and our students are encouraged to explore the many facets of communication. About the Role As a Visiting Teaching Assistant Professor, you will be responsible for teaching four courses over three quarters. Your primary responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate general education and communication studies major courses. We are particularly interested in candidates who can teach the introductory Practicing Communication and Theorizing Communication courses. You will also be expected to contribute to the department's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
