Job Summary As a Sustainability Analyst at Fedex, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of environmental sustainability and reusing programs. You will work cross-functionally to gather key data, information, and metrics, and connect environmental sustainability to business value. Your primary focus will be on analyzing and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sustainability matters, such as recycling, climate change, energy, packaging, and sustainable sourcing. Key Responsibilities Support the development and enhancement of environmental sustainability and reusing programs by working cross-functionally to gather key data, information, and metrics. Connect environmental sustainability to business value and support the development of organization sustainability performance goals, key performance indicators, and targets. Research, analyze, and collect data from various sources, both internal and external, to FedEx supply chain operations. Manage the tracking and statistical analysis of key performance indicators connected with sustainability matters, including recycling, climate change, energy, packaging, and sustainable sourcing. Manage multiple sustainability projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on evolving KPIs and deadlines. Develop and maintain internal project plans and monitor progress to ensure work is delivered on time and implement approaches to maximize efficiencies and overall quality. Proactively identify opportunities to create value and mitigate risks through sustainability and reusing initiatives. Help determine and assess enhancements in our sustainability/reusing programs and benchmark best practices. Identify and maintain awareness of current and emerging technologies, tools, and methods connected with sustainability and reusing. Communicate effectively with all levels of the business organization. Perform impromptu tasks and assigned duties, as required. Requirements and Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree of involvement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly organized to fulfill changing needs that require prompt attention. Ability to work with all levels of the association. Ready to work under pressure, creating great expectations while meeting delivery dates. Must be a motivated, groundbreaking individual who can work with minimal management. Shows strong interpersonal skills. Technical Skills Proficient in MS-Office suite, with strong PowerPoint skills. Knowledge of MS Project. Proficient in SharePoint. Knowledge of Power BI is preferable, but not required. Experience with Reusing Drives is preferable, but not required. Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to follow procedures and methodology. Ability to read, write, and interpret data. Ability to add, deduct, multiply, and divide. Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Ability to sit/walk/stand for up to 8 hours a day. Must have visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to change focus. Travel Requirements This position expects up to 75% travel.
