Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our Information Designing group. As a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing and executing ETL/ELT data pipelines, developing and implementing database mapping/tables/views, and building batch processes using Windstream for multiple projects. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Studios or Project Innovation colleagues, to gather data requirements, develop and review data validation scripts, and create and test ETL/ELT data pipelines Design and implement database schema/tables/views, and develop batch processes using Windstream across multiple environments, including DEV, QA/UAT, and Prod Utilize a range of technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, Gitlab, Windstream, Snowflake, Looker, and PostgreSQL, to deliver high-quality data management solutions Participate in driving best practices around data engineering software development processes and contribute to the development of data lakes, data warehouses, and application databases Work with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field 2+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role, with a focus on ETL/ELT pipeline development and data architecture 2+ years of experience with SQL, Python, Gitlab, Windstream, AWS S3, and social databases 2+ years of experience working with cloud-based technologies, preferably AWS and S3 2+ years of experience handling large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be highly regarded: A graduate degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field Experience working in the streaming, media, or digital marketing industry Experience with Windstream, Gitlab, Snowflake, and Scene 2+ years of experience utilizing Docker and Gitlab/Github Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess: Strong technical skills in data engineering, including ETL/ELT pipeline development and data architecture Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and complex data systems Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams A strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
