Job Overview As a Remote Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you'll be an integral part of our global customer services team, working closely with team leaders to ensure a safe and exceptional airport experience for our customers. Your expertise will span all areas of customer services, and you'll be expected to work flexibly across various functions, including check-in, gates, transfer, arrival, luggage services, and ticketing. You'll report to team leaders, taking instructions and guidance to deliver outstanding results. Key Responsibilities Provide consistently excellent customer service, ensuring a seamless experience at all contact points Perform various airport-related tasks, supporting the daily operation in areas such as check-in, gates, transfer, arrival, luggage services, and ticketing Collaborate closely with team leaders, taking instructions and guidance to achieve team goals Conduct administrative tasks, including ATAC, pre-flight, and post-flight departure duties Represent blithequark by adhering to uniform standards and adopting a customer-centric approach at all times Promote and sell blithequark services and products to customers, identifying opportunities to enhance their travel experience Attend and complete all required training by given deadlines, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and development Adhere to and promote safe working practices, ensuring a secure and healthy environment for customers and colleagues Perform other reasonable duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess exceptional interpersonal skills, a solution-oriented approach, and the ability to resolve conflicts professionally within time constraints. You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision, and you'll be able to maintain a strong customer focus, even in challenging situations. You'll also be: Able to work in a shift environment, including weekends, bank holidays, and public holidays Reliable, punctual, and compliant with all blithequark policies and procedures Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, to a high standard In possession of a valid BAA airside pass, GSAT trained, and willing to obtain a BAA driving license and jet bridge permit as required Able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations Desired Qualifications and Experience While not essential, we're looking for candidates with: PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email Previous experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in the travel or aviation industry A strong understanding of customer service principles and practices Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop, both personally and professionally.
