Located in Franklin, Tennessee, our 203-bed hospital is part of a comprehensive healthcare network that includes over 40 providers at our Williamson Health Medical Group locations, the Bone & Joint Institute, and the Monroe Carell Junior Children's Hospital Vanderbilt at Williamson Medical Center. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate, implement, and plan nursing care in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring comprehensive assessments and individualized care plans for patients. Perform treatments, procedures, and equipment operations with independence and adherence to hospital policies and procedures. Handle, transport, store, prepare, and administer medications and solutions safely and in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Document patient information accurately and timely, reassessing patient conditions and modifying care plans as needed. Accept charge responsibilities, assigning staff based on patient condition, acuity, and complexity. Facilitate staff development, maintaining a healing and therapeutic environment for patients and families. Maintain position-specific qualifications, demonstrating responsibility for assigned communications and special assignments. Essential Qualifications: Earned nursing diploma or degree from a college or university. Licensure in the State of Tennessee. BLS certification within 90 days of hire. Ability to work well under pressure, function independently, and apply basic nursing knowledge to various settings. Proficient in using standard patient care equipment, including Network Computer System, Omnicell Medication System, Telemetry, and Pneumatic Tube System. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a Med-Surg or similar unit. Basic arrhythmia and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire). Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire). Skills and Competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
