About Music Kids LLC Music Kids LLC is a leading provider of instrumental education programs for elementary students. The Position: Music Teacher and Faculty Member We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Music Teacher to teach small group classes in violin, piano, and guitar to elementary students at our partner schools in Boston, MA. As a Faculty Member, you will be responsible for teaching, program management, and communication with parents and students. Key Responsibilities: Teach small group classes in violin, piano, and guitar to elementary students at partner schools in Boston, MA Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of beginning-level students Manage student records, provide progress updates to parents, and support students virtually Promote the program and drive enrollment at partner school events throughout the year Participate in professional development opportunities through collaboration with senior resident Faculty Members and staff Communicate effectively with parents, students, and school administrators to ensure the success of the program Essential Qualifications: At least 1-2 years of teaching experience in music classes or a traditional classroom setting Ability to teach more than one instrument at a beginning level, or ideally all three (violin, piano, and guitar) Strong interest in working with a wide range of student age groups, especially beginning-level students (including 3-5 years old) Passion for having a direct impact on the primary education system in the United States Comfortable teaching students in small groups of 3-4 students Ability to be flexible and creative in teaching style with an open mind Preferred Qualifications: Experience with leadership or project management Ability to work closely with an office staff in administrative and professional development functions Reliable, organized, timely, and possesses friendly verbal and written communication skills Comfortable working daily in email, internal instant messaging, company databases, digital timekeeping, and other online resources to manage activities Owns a car to commute to/from partner schools (optional in some cases, but strongly preferred) Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Music Kids LLC, we are committed to the professional development and growth of our Faculty Members.
