**Job Summary**
We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Geographic Information Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Geographic Data group, you'll be responsible for creating geographic data for assigned areas, designing PC-generated maps and reports, and providing administrative support to local Deal Makers. If you're a team player with excellent communication and analytical skills, we want to hear from you!
**Key Responsibilities**
* Create PC-generated maps, reports, tables, and charts for assigned areas using MapInfo, as requested by local Deal Makers
* Process requests and inquiries from arenaflex Activities for market strategy guides and presentation materials
* Perform a variety of project-specific tasks, including data analysis and interpretation, as assigned
* Provide administrative support to local Deal Makers, including preparing cost reports, editing documents, booking travel, and meeting other administrative needs
* Perform general office duties, including answering phone calls, greeting office visitors, mail handling and preparation, ensuring all office equipment is functioning properly, and recording and scheduling deliveries and office supplies
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
* General knowledge of geographic information systems and data analysis
* Familiarity with data visualization and presentation tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with MapInfo and other geographic information systems software
* Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field, or two years of relevant work experience in geographic information systems
