As a key member of our engineering crew, you'll work closely with our artwork, layout, and engineering groups to identify workflow inefficiencies, pain points, and challenges in our development process. You'll collaborate with the team to generate candidate solutions, weigh tradeoffs, and implement selected solutions that multiply our efforts and enhance crew performance. Key Responsibilities Proactively perceive inefficiencies and elaborate areas in our improvement technique across disciplines. Preserve, extend, and aid present development gear. Build and guide custom asset pipelines. Grow Blithequark's proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and structures. Collaborate with the crew to generate candidate answers, weigh tradeoffs given the hassle context and improvement timetable, put in force the selected answer, and help the adoption of the solution by the team. Assist, develop, and preserve Blithequark's present set of engine-precise and custom gear that we use each day. Requirements To succeed in this role, you'll need: A sturdy ardour for empowering others to do their best work. Enjoyment with the overall device lifecycle: coming across issues, comparing capacity answers, implementing tools, and evaluating their effectiveness. Revel in operating with custom standalone gear. Enjoy growing gear which can be utilized by many recreation development disciplines. Proficiency in C#, C++, Python. Ability to work efficaciously in a self-directed environment. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with custom game engines. Unreal or Unity experience. JavaScript and .NET tech experience.
