As a Risk & Assurance Analyst, you’ll strengthen the frameworks that keep our organisation resilient, informed, and consistently improving. What We’re Looking For Essential : Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, spot patterns, and identify issues. Clear, concise report writing skills suitable for senior stakeholders. Ability to translate processes into accessible procedures and guidance. Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Experience within risk, assurance, audit, governance, or a similar structured/compliance environment. Ability to build effective relationships, provide constructive challenge, and improve risk and control information. Collaborative, confident working style that supports the embedding of consistent risk and assurance practices. Desirable : Experience in internal audit, assurance reviews, or risk management frameworks. Training or qualifications in internal audit or risk management (or willingness to pursue them). Familiarity with government or public sector standards such as The Orange Book. Experience supporting governance reporting or committee preparation. Understanding of role‑based access control (RBAC). GFSL has been notified by its shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM services will in future be delivered by the private sector. This means that following a successful procurement process, GFSL's services will complete transfer to a private sector provider/providers no sooner than August 2027.
