You'll collaborate with the team to generate candidate solutions, weigh tradeoffs, implement the selected answer, and help drive adoption of the solution. Additionally, you'll be responsible for assisting, developing, and preserving arenaflex's proprietary set of engine-specific and custom gear used daily. **Key Responsibilities** * Proactively identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in our development process across various disciplines * Preserve, extend, and aid existing development gear * Build and guide custom asset pipelines * Grow arenaflex's proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and structures * Collaborate with the team to generate candidate solutions, weigh tradeoffs, implement the selected answer, and drive adoption of the solution * Assist in identifying and resolving issues, comparing capacity answers, implementing tools, and evaluating their effectiveness **Essential Qualifications** * Strong passion for empowering others to do their best work * Enjoy working with the overall device lifecycle: identifying issues, comparing capacity answers, implementing tools, and evaluating their effectiveness * Enjoy operating with custom standalone gear * Enjoy growing gear that can be utilized by multiple game development disciplines * Proficiency in C#, C++, Python, JavaScript, and Net Tech * Ability to work efficiently in a self-directed environment **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with custom game engines (Unreal or Unity) * Familiarity with JavaScript and Net Tech * Familiarity with required utility materials * Resume outlining applicable experience **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
