Job Overview We are seeking an experienced data scientist and software programs specialist to join our team at Apple. As a remote data entry specialist, you will be responsible for helping us improve the quality of our software programs for iOS and macOS. You will work closely with our System Quality team to design, develop, and implement new tools and processes for the SWE Program bundle. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new tools and processes for software quality improvement Work with large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform software development and quality assurance Develop and maintain distributed data pipelines, data warehouses, and data analytics tools Design, execute, and analyze experiments and tests to evaluate software quality and identify areas for improvement Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise reports, presentations, and visualizations Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science, software development, and quality assurance Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field Experience with distributed computing, data storage, and workflow management (e.g., Cassandra, Spark, Airflow) Experience with data analysis, machine learning, and data visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, Tableau) Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C++ Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) Knowledge of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and quality assurance principles Experience with data science tools and technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical, business, and soft skills.
