**Responsibilities**

As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:

* Performing a variety of support functions to support the department, including data entry, report generation, and project assistance.
* Handling multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
* Assisting in compiling data and generating reports, utilizing your expertise in word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.).
* Maintaining a working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices.
* Developing a basic understanding of databases and applying it to support departmental operations.
* Providing excellent customer service, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
* Demonstrating strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks and projects.

**Required Skills & Experience**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* A high school degree or equivalent.
* Proven experience as a data entry clerk, with a strong track record of accuracy and efficiency.
* Fast typing skills, with the ability to maintain a high level of productivity.
* Knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.).
* Working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices.
* Basic understanding of databases, with the ability to apply it to support departmental operations.
* Good command of English, both oral and written, with excellent customer service skills.
* Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy and precision in all tasks and projects.

**Preferred Skills & Experience**

While not required, the following skills and experience are highly desirable:

* Knowledge of touch typing systems, with the ability to maintain high-speed accuracy.
* Familiarity with careerzynith's systems and processes, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
* Experience working in a remote environment, with a strong understanding of virtual collaboration tools and platforms.

**Equipment Specifications**

To ensure success in this role, you will need to meet the following equipment specifications:

* Dual monitors, with the ability to have Teams/Outlook open simultaneously.
* A keyboard with a 10-key number pad.
* Windows 10 or 11 operating system.
* An ISP download speed of 25Mbps or higher.
* A minimum screen resolution of 1920 X 1080 (higher preferred).
* A laptop that can run an external monitor at the prescribed resolution (laptops are acceptable, but they must be able to run an external monitor at the prescribed resolution).
* No Chromebook or MacBook.
* A web camera for Teams meetings.
* A headset or external speakers (if none built-in) for calls.
