**Job Summary**

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Senior Representative to join our team in Oliver Springs, TN. As a key member of our customer support team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers, resolving complex issues, and providing expert guidance on insurance claims and policies. **Key Responsibilities**

As a Customer Service Senior Representative, you'll be responsible for:

* Delivering specific delegated customer service tasks assigned by a supervisor, including responding to inquiries from policy holders, providers, and others
* Providing expert guidance on insurance claims and policies, including interpreting policy provisions and determining the most effective response
* Resolving non-routine issues escalated from more junior team members, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and expertise
* Completing day-to-day tasks without immediate supervision, but with ready access to advice from more experienced team members
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation, including claim forms and supporting documentation
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction
* Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

**Key Requirements and Technology Experience**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

* 1-2 years of experience in customer service, insurance verification, or a related field
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret and follow policies, procedures, and written instructions
* Basic knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Office, and SharePoint
* Ability to handle challenging situations in a professional manner, with a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy
* Willingness to work varying tasks and adapt to changing priorities
* High School diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Previous experience in the healthcare industry, with third-party benefits verification experience preferred
* Knowledge of healthcare pharmaceutical and services a plus
* Experience taking inbound and outbound calls (30 calls per day)
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
