Job Description Summary The Customer Service Representative at blithequark is equipped for success, providing exceptional, professional, and efficient service to all customers in the rental of construction/industrial equipment and store items. This position is considered the company's front line contact with the customer and does whatever is necessary to satisfy the customer's needs and requests, exemplifying the blithequark Promise of reliability, availability, and ease to our customers. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional, professional, and efficient service to all customers in the rental of construction/industrial equipment and store items Act as the company's front line contact with the customer, doing whatever is necessary to satisfy the customer's needs and requests Utilize PC systems and typing skills, including CRM, email, and chat, to support customer interactions Collaborate with others to "get things done" and support the team in achieving its goals Demonstrate knowledge of equipment rental and construction industry, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: Customer service experience in either a call center environment or a dedicated customer service department Education or experience that prepares you for success in a customer-facing role Basic knowledge of PC systems and typing skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues Preferred Qualifications Preferred qualifications for this role include: Experience with Wynne or AS400 systems Equipment rental or construction industry experience Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, with the ability to work in a safe and responsible manner Ability to lift 25 pounds or more, and work indoors/outdoors when required by the job Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service to customers Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues Basic knowledge of PC systems and typing skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees, providing opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
