**Key Responsibilities**

As a Concierge Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

* Responding to telephone and email inquiries from members and providers within defined service standards
* Negotiating with providers to gain acceptance for plans without network agreements and/or out of network providers
* Assisting members with benefits and healthcare questions
* Documenting all calls received in system-based call log
* Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction
* Staying up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and best practices to provide expert guidance to members and providers

**Essential Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

* A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, with 2 years of college or higher education preferred
* At least 1 year of experience in customer service or call center roles, preferably in the healthcare industry
* Medical intake or Third-Party Administrator (TPA) experience is a plus
* Bilingual English-Spanish skills are a plus
* Strong customer relations, interpersonal, and communication skills
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications, strong computer skills, and computer navigation
* Excellent data entry and typing skills
* Knowledge of provider organizations and networks
* Understanding of CMS Medicare reimbursement rates
* Ability to effectively negotiate rate structures
* Strong analytical and research skills
* Medical terminology knowledge
* Strong attention to detail

**Preferred Qualifications**

While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

* Experience in provider office/facility billing department or financial area
* Claim processing skills
* Insurance verification or pre-certification experience
* Understanding of Self-Funded health benefits
* Strong initiative and ability to take ownership of projects and tasks

**Work Environment and Culture**

As a remote Concierge Customer Service Representative, you'll work in a typical office/home office environment, requiring prolonged sitting in front of a computer. You'll need to be comfortable with hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment, including computers and phone systems.

**Compensation and Benefits**
