In this remote part-time role, you will have the opportunity to work with our largest advertising clients and/or item partners, leading cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales, and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. Job Responsibilities As a Cloud Security Platform Engineer and Technical Solutions Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including: Designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust cloud security operations environment Collaborating with SOC teams and cloud experts to create and automate cloud security monitoring and alerting to ensure timely detection of security incidents Developing and refining operational playbooks for cloud security incident response automation and management Integrating and optimizing cloud security tools within the SOC environment to streamline incident response workflows Leading the development of cloud security operations capabilities to enhance threat detection, response, and overall security posture Providing technical support and mentorship to Level 1 investigators and other team members Utilizing common support frameworks (e.g., ServiceNow) to document and manage the lifecycle of an incident Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience At least 6 years of experience in either system design or one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python, etc.) At least 6 years of experience in technical investigating, and managing internal/external partners or clients Experience working with incident response investigations, analysis, and compliance activities Experience with network forensics, malware emergency analysis, cloud forensics, and disk and memory forensics Secret US Government Trusted status Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: SIEM Event Analysis, Incident Response, and Investigation experience Experience with Security Impact Assessment and Formal Reporting Experience with Technical Requirements Development of SecStack Tooling (e.g., SPULK, ElasticSearch, blithequark Secops/Account + SCC, Trellix Endpoint Detection and Response EDR, IDS/IPS, etc.) Experience with Level 1 Investigator Support and Technical Mentorship Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Strong technical skills, including experience with cloud security principles, GCP and Workspace security tools, and automation Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a strong focus on delivering results Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
