Job Description Title: Senior Account Manager - Commercial Lines Fully Remote (EST and CST only) | Supporting: Columbia, SC | Book Focus: General, Contractors Required: active P&C license / minimum 5+ years experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager Strongly Preferred: CISR, CIC, CRIS and/or CPCU designations / 7-10+ years experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager Please note: If this position is posted as either fully remote and/or hybrid, in accordance with company policy, individuals residing within a 50-mile radius of a branch location may be required to work onsite in a hybrid capacity as there may be occasions when on-site presence is necessary to meet specific business needs. Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues, and ensuring no errors or omissions. Serve as a subject matter expert for the account management team. Key Responsibilities β€’ Technical Competence: Maintain a high degree of technical competence and industry expertise. β€’ Team Leadership: Direct daily activities and workflow of the account management team. β€’ Customer Service: Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis. β€’ Policy Management: Manage policy expirations and renewals. β€’ Renewal Process: Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals. β€’ Accounts Receivable: Monitor reports and take action on delinquent accounts, collecting outstanding balances. β€’ System Maintenance: Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. β€’ Activity Monitoring: Monitor and maintain activity/suspense to ensure timely completion. β€’ Activity Monitoring: Monitor and maintain activity/suspense to ensure timely completion. β€’ Communication: Maintain frequent, transparent communication with the account team regarding workload status and any issues. β€’ Service Excellence: Deliver excellent service, proactively anticipate needs, and respond quickly to service requests. β€’ Policy Compliance: Stay updated on company policies and procedures. β€’ Continuous Improvement: Seek and adopt best practices to improve individual and team performance. β€’ Champion IOA Values: Demonstrate integrity and leadership.
