Our clients are based in Burgess Hill, Hassocks, Ditchling, Haywards Heath, Lindfield, and Cuckfield areas. Role Overview As an Evening and Weekend Care Angel, you'll play a vital role in supporting our clients during the evenings and weekends. You'll provide assistance with daily activities, offer companionship, and ensure the well-being of our clients in their homes. This position is perfect for individuals who are looking for a rewarding career in healthcare and want to make a positive impact on people's lives. Key Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients. Assist with meal preparation and feeding. Help clients with mobility and physical exercises. Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and laundry. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Accompany clients to appointments and social activities. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you'll need: A valid driving license and access to a car for work purposes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A compassionate and caring attitude. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends. While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are desirable: Experience in a healthcare or care setting. Care Certificate or relevant qualifications. Knowledge of care practices and procedures.
