The Role: Driving Sales Success in Travel Payments As an experienced Account Executive - Travel Payments - Airlines, you will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and selling the value proposition to running negotiations, contracts, and closing deals. You will be a true hunter with a proven track record of success in selling payment-based solutions within the travel sector, preferably to airlines. Your established network will be a significant asset in this role, enabling you to engage with key decision-makers and drive revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients. Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand the company's customer base within the travel industry. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at airlines and travel providers. Negotiate contracts and closing deals, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless sales process and exceptional customer experience. Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to pursue them. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, providing insights to inform sales strategies. Essential Qualifications and Skills: A proven track record of selling payment-based solutions within the travel sector, preferably to airlines. Demonstrated experience in managing the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. A proactive mindset with a willingness to share ideas, implement new processes, and continuously learn. Experience working within a startup or scale-up environment, or a demonstrated ability to adapt to this culture. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. A strong network within the travel industry, with established relationships with key decision-makers. Preferred Qualifications: A background in sales within the fintech or payments industry. Experience with sales enablement tools and CRM software. A proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
