Remote Medical Transcriptionist / Medical Scribe
Job Summary
ā¢ The Elite Job is seeking a detail-oriented and highly dependable Remote Medical Transcriptionist / Medical Scribe to join our fast-growing virtual healthcare support team. This role is ideal for individuals with strong medical knowledge, excellent listening skills, and a passion for accurate documentation. You will work closely with physicians and healthcare providers to transcribe audio recordings into precise medical documentation and/or provide real-time scribing support during virtual consultations. ā¢ Key Responsibilities
ā¢ * Transcribe voice-recorded medical reports and convert them into written text with high accuracy.
ā¢ * Edit and review transcribed reports for grammatical and factual errors.
ā¢ * Listen carefully to dictation from healthcare providers and ensure correct usage of medical terminology.
ā¢ * Accurately document physician-patient interactions in real time as a virtual scribe during telemedicine sessions.
ā¢ * Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMRs) in compliance with HIPAA and other data protection standards.
ā¢ * Communicate with healthcare professionals to clarify ambiguities in dictation or documentation.
ā¢ * Meet strict turnaround time requirements without compromising quality.
ā¢ * Stay current with medical, pharmacological, and technological developments to enhance transcription quality.
ā¢ Required Skills and Qualifications
ā¢ * Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and medical terminology.
ā¢ * Exceptional listening skills and attention to detail.
ā¢ * Fast and accurate typing skills (at least 60 WPM preferred).
ā¢ * Proficiency with transcription software and EMR systems.
ā¢ * Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.

ā¢ * Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
ā¢ Experience
ā¢ * Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical transcription or scribing (required).
ā¢ * Familiarity with a range of medical specialties, including but not limited to cardiology, orthopedics, pediatrics, and internal medicine.
ā¢ * Experience working in remote/virtual environments is a plus.
ā¢ Working Hours
