This position leads database architecture, resolves advanced issues, and drives performance enhancements.Responsibilities: Direct and oversee the selection, implementation, and configuration of software, hardware, and network infrastructure for database management systems. Establish and maintain high standards for database tools, administration protocols, and best practices, ensuring operational excellence. Lead efforts to monitor and apply critical SQL Server patches and updates, guaranteeing system security and reliability. Architect and drive the development of data models and access layers that enhance new product capabilities and scalability. Strategize and implement robust backup solutions and database replication protocols to ensure data integrity.
