Engineer-in-Training - Transportation

Responsibilities Assist senior staff on a variety of transportation engineering projects Trip generation calculations Bicycle level of stress analysis Traffic operations analysis Transit capacity analysis Parking demand assessments Transportation conceptual planning Site design assistance Transportation report production Skills Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Engineering or Planning 0-2 years' experience Experience with traffic impact assessments and the development permitting process Experience with traffic analysis software such as Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, etc Microsoft Office Suite (Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work in a team environment as an individual contributor and enjoy learning Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to utilize critical thinking and judgment to define, analyze, and resolve problems and issues E.I.T.
