As a Senior Associate in the Pyxis Data Operations team, you will support the delivery of high-quality, data-driven insights to clients through technical execution, project coordination, and client communication.ResponsibilitiesConduct deep-dive data analysis and root cause investigations on time-series trends, quality gaps, and ML output issuesPartner with ML engineers to review, refine, and optimize tagging models and training dataExecute data cleaning, manipulation, and transformation using SQL, Python, and regexLeverage foundational machine learning and NLP knowledge to interpret outputs and guide improvementsAct as the technical lead for assigned client relationships, managing the execution of deliverables and ensuring data accuracy and relevanceTranslate complex analytical outputs into clear, client-facing materials and presentationsProvide guidance to internal delivery teams on framing and communicating insightsCoordinate with ML, Data Ops, and Commercial teams to orchestrate quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) efforts for all client-facing datasetsTrack timelines and project dependencies to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data productsOwn documentation and continuous improvement efforts related to delivery workflows and QA toolsDrive improvements in QA/QC methodologies through automation and tool developmentContribute to internal team upskilling by sharing analytical techniques and coding best practicesRecommend improvements to data delivery processes based on analysis of recurring issues and feedbackSkillsA Bachelor's or Master's degree1-3+ years of data analytics or related experienceHigh proficiency in summarizing technical concepts and translating analytics to business impactProficiency in SQL for data analysis including experience with basic regex expressionsExperience with Python for data analysis and Git/Github for codebase managementFamiliarity with common machine learning topicsExperience working in a continuous improvement environment, using data to define processes that continually enhance models and data qualityExperience working with consumer panel and/or market measurement dataNLP knowledge is a nice-to-haveBenefitsAnnual discretionary performance bonus401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start dateBain & Company's comprehensive benefits and wellness programBain pays 100% individual employee premiums for medical, dental and vision programsGenerous paid time off, including parental leave, sick leave and paid holidaysFully vested 401(k) company contributionPaid Life and Long-Term Disability insuranceAnnual fitness reimbursementsCompany OverviewBain & Company is a global management consulting firm, a top advisor to the world's leading private, public and non-profit organizations.
