Customer Service/Sales
Overview Customer Service/Sales associates provide fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance. These associates learn about products using our tools, and provide information to customers in order to sell an entire project. They greet, qualify, recommend and close every customer in their department, and know how to handle basics in adjacent departments. They maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, and ensure it is clean, shop-able, and safe. They follow safety policies and standards, complete safety training, correct hazards, and report conditions to the Manager on Duty, and work safely. Responsibilities • Greet, qualify, recommend and close every customer in their department and assist with basics in adjacent departments. • Learn product information using company tools to provide customers with information to sell full projects. • Maintain in-stock condition of assigned areas; ensure they are clean, shop-able, and safe. • Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following safety policies and standards, completing required safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty. • Collaborate with Department Supervisor and other department associates.
