Corporate Regional Controller| Alpharetta, GA-REMOTE
This is a full-time, remote position with a Corporate Office based in Alpharetta, GA. Salary based on experience, $95k-$110k.
Overall Responsibilities:
The Corporate Regional Controller will be responsible for taking point with end of month closings including but not limited to the following:
ā¢ Oversee the operations of the hotel accounting of multiple hotels with the ability to manage, train and develop portfolio accountants.
ā¢ Financial Statement preparation.
ā¢ Bank reconciliations.
ā¢ Review of invoices and preparation of check runs.
ā¢ Cash Management.
ā¢ Preparation of State and Local Tax returns for sales tax, hotel occupancy tax, telecommunications tax, and other applicable taxes.
ā¢ Utilizing the Profit Sword accounting system to record and reconcile accounting records.
ā¢ Various owner and Property requests as needed.

Job Requirements:
ā¢ Bachelor's degree required.
ā¢ Up to 35% travel required
ā¢ Experience with financial statement preparation.
ā¢ Multi-property experience.
ā¢ Full-Service Experience
ā¢ Food and Beverage Experience
ā¢ Hotel Opening/Renovation Experience
ā¢ Demonstrated skill in exercising good judgment and decision making.
ā¢ Ability to manage financials effectively and efficiently.
ā¢ Ability to multi-task.
ā¢ Ability to work independently.
ā¢ Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
ā¢ Demonstrated ability to process new information quickly and respond aptly to change.
ā¢ Strong demonstrated analytical skills, with experience in solving "real-life" business problems.
ā¢ Solid project management skills, with ability to independently manage multiple projects.
ā¢ Demonstrated ability to use spreadsheets to manipulate large amounts of data and translate into meaningful analysis.
ā¢ Requires concentrated mental and visual attention and sitting in front of a computer more than 90% of the time.
ā¢ One to two years of professional accounting experience within a hotel management company, including budgeting, forecasting, balance reconciliations, owner relations, and audit support.
Preferred Qualifications:
ā¢ Previous hospitality or hotel industry accounting experience.
ā¢ Knowledge of ProfitSword accounting software.
ā¢ Systems knowledge including NetSuite, ProfitSword, FOSSE, ADP, Opera, Micros, Toast, and Lightspeed.
