Consultant, Healthcare Governmental Reimbursement
Description & Requirements The Healthcare Consulting Reimbursement team delivers specialized support to help providers optimize reimbursement in a complex regulatory landscape. With deep expertise in Medicare Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) assessments and Medicare Bad Debt quantification, they ensure accurate reporting of uncompensated care and bad debt. Leveraging advanced analytics, proprietary tools, and decades of regulatory insight, the team helps healthcare organizations stay compliant while maximizing financial performance. What You Will Do: • Assist in preparing Medicare Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) assessments, including data gathering and analysis of uncompensated care costs. • Support Medicare Bad Debt quantification by reviewing patient-level data and ensuring compliance with CMS documentation requirements. • Help with Medicaid reimbursement projects, including supplemental payment analysis and reporting. • Conduct research on Medicare and Medicaid regulatory updates to support client compliance and reporting accuracy. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field • 1+ years of relevant experience in healthcare accounting or healthcare reimbursement • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications: • Master's Degree • Current and valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license #LI-OKC, #LI-TULSA #LI-KH3 Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
