Job Title: Medicaid/MMIS Technical Manager (Java Full Stack) Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Medicaid/MMIS Technical Manager with strong Java Full Stack expertise to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable healthcare solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep domain knowledge in Medicaid systems and a proven track record of technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design and development of Medicaid applications, including:
• Claims processing
• Eligibility systems
• Enrollment modules
• Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams
• Drive architecture, design, and development using Java full stack technologies:
• Spring Boot
• Microservices architecture
• Angular or React
• RESTful APIs
• Contribute hands-on to development, especially for critical components and solution design
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards such as HIPAA and CMS guidelines
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
• Conduct code reviews and guide best practices in development
• Perform performance tuning and troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Lead Agile/Scrum processes:
• Sprint planning
• Daily stand-ups
• Retrospectives
• Ensure application scalability, security, and high availability
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of modern technologies, including AI-driven solutions

Required Qualifications
• 8-12 years of IT experience with a strong technical leadership background
• Proven experience in Medicaid/MMIS domain (MMIS experience preferred)
• Hands-on experience in Java full stack development
• Strong experience with:
• REST API development
• Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• Database technologies
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to AI/ML-driven solutions in healthcare
• Knowledge of modern security frameworks and best practices
