Conflicts and Intake Specialist
Saul Ewing LLP is seeking a Conflicts and Intake Specialist to join their team. The role involves reviewing new business intake forms, identifying conflicts, and maintaining an internal database to ensure accurate conflict clearance.ResponsibilitiesProviding first level analysis of reports for Conflict Check Requests relating to new business for attorneys to review further, including Lateral HiresFacilitating the client and matter on-boarding process, particularly by conducting risk checks on new clients and new mandates involving conflicts and confidentiality (legal and commercial), client due diligence, jurisdictional, and reputational risk analysisUndertaking research and analysis on an ad-hoc basisAssisting with maintaining databases by performing various changes, corrections, and updates on existing client and matter informationReviewing engagement letters for accuracy in scope and Rates reviewA strong customer service approach and team focus with the ability to work independentlyAssist team with special projects relating to the firm's professional responsibility, compliance, and conflicts initiativesAvailable for occasional overtime during evening hours, weekends, and certain holidays as neededSkillsBachelor's degreeMinimum of 1-2 years of experience working within a conflicts departmentGood understanding of the Rules of Professional Conduct as they relate to conflictsGood understanding of corporate structures, including companies, trusts and partnershipsExcellent organizational and planning skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlinesAbility to liaise with all levels of personnel in a professional manner, both oral and written, to obtain information on new clients and mattersProactive mentality that thinks ahead and anticipates what is nextInTapp and Aderant experienceExperience with client onboarding in a law firm settingBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insuranceFlexible spending accounts (FSA)Health savings account (HSA)Tuition reimbursementGenerous paid time off401(k) retirement savings planCompetitive salaries and year-end discretionary bonusesPaid leave options, including parentalSaul Ewing University (learning and development programs taught by the firm’s training department)Family formation benefitsCompany OverviewInspired People.
