Develop and implement community health initiatives and programs aimed at promoting health and preventing the spread of infectious diseases.
Collaborate with community organizations, healthcare providers, and local government agencies to identify and address health needs and disparities in the community.
Conduct outreach and education efforts to raise awareness about health issues and provide resources and support to community members.
Coordinate and facilitate health screenings, vaccinations, and other health events in the community.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community health programs and make recommendations for improvements.
Maintain accurate records and data related to community health activities and outcomes.
Develop and distribute educational materials and resources on health topics relevant to the community.
Serve as a liaison between the university and community stakeholders, advocating for the needs and concerns of community members.
Stay up-to-date on current public health trends, research, and best practices to inform program development and implementation.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the university to integrate community health initiatives into their work.
Represent the university and the Division of Infectious Diseases at community events and meetings related to public health and community health.
Foster a culture of health equity and inclusivity in all community health efforts.
