We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer with expertise in AWS network firewall, Terraform infrastructure as code, and AWS Security Hub. We have recently transitioned from an on-prem infrastructure configuration to a fully cloud oriented infrastructure on AWS. We are seeking a network engineer to work with existing infrastructure team members and help optimize our network in relation to the new cloud infrastructure.
As the Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure while ensuring the highest level of security and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network architecture and enhance system reliability.
What youÂll be working on
Key Responsibilities (In Order of Priority):
 Design, implement, and manage network architecture in AWS, leveraging AWS network firewall solutions to ensure robust security.
 Help architect a solution that replaces current Palo Alto Panorama and F5 Big IP network components
 Utilize Terraform to define and manage network infrastructure as code, ensuring scalability, repeatability, and maintainability.
 Help configure and optimize the AWS Security Hub into the network architecture to monitor, detect, and respond to security threats effectively.
 Collaborate with DevOps and software engineering teams to understand application requirements and provide networking solutions that meet their needs.
 Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
 Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to network security and cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications (In Order of Priority):
 Proven experience working as a Network Engineer with a strong focus on AWS network firewall, Terraform, AWS Security Hub.
 Experience with Palo Alto Panorama and F5 Big IP is highly desirable
 Proficiency in designing, implementing, and managing secure and scalable network architectures in AWS.
 Extensive experience with Terraform for defining and managing infrastructure as code.
 In-depth knowledge of AWS Security Hub and its integration with various AWS services.
 Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, VPN, and security protocols.
 Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
 Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
 Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
