This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.
Position Summary:
Responsible for the safe operation of company equipment and timely, courteous delivery of product to our customers.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
? Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle
? Use Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
? Maneuver vehicle and equipment in congested areas with limited space and potential obstacles
? Unload and deliver products to our customer utilizing various methodologies that may include manual conveyors, carts, or pallets in multi-temperature environments
? Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and store personnel
? Complete delivery and pick up paperwork
? Pick up returned product as required
? Collect company assets to include payments, carts, pallets, etc.
? Complete pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
? Complete company training and certifications as required
? Effectively communicate and maintain contact with shift supervisor, dispatch, and/or co-workers
? Other projects or duties as assigned
